Felt Christmas Decoration | Shooting Star

For sale here is a handmade felt shootign star decoration. It has been carefully created using quality wool/ viscose blend felt in lovely warm folk art inspired colours, with added hand embroidery and beads. The decoration is stuffed to give a nice padded look, backed with rich red felt, and measures approximately 12cm long.

This decoration design was originally created as part of a collaboration with artist Clive Hicks- Jenkins back in 2019; Clive illustrated a retelling of the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel by poet Simon Armitage, and commissioned me to make a selection of felt ornaments using his illustrations as inspiration and adding my folk art inspired decoration. He has kindly granted me permission to create some more of these decorations to offer for sale. Thank you Clive!

This ornament would make a lovely Christmas decoration, but equally could be displayed all year round.
