Berries and Moon | Miniature Felt Wall Hanging

For sale here is a handmade felt wall hanging/ miniature quilt. It has been carefully created with hand-cut applique shapes, hand embroidery and added beads. It is free hanging via a wooden baton and rustic string at the top to allow it to be easily hung on a nail.

My inspiration for this quilt was delicate twigs of berries on a cold winter's day, and a peaceful serene moon. My aim was to create an almost meditative piece - both in its creation, particularly the slow, repetitive stitching on of seed beads to create a densely beaded moon, and in terms of the finished piece; my hope is that it will inspire peace and serenity in its viewer, a little reminder to take a moment to slow down and breathe in this hectic world.

The hanging measures approximately 16cm across and 10cm tall not including the string hanger. The back of the quilt has a 'Chloe Redfern Embroidery' label on. Some stitching is visible on the back of the quilt.
